You are reporting the following problem report for being abusive, containing personal information, or similar:
Engine Idling by Cabs, Ubers and Tradesmen's Vehicles Reported anonymously at 12:10, Mon 25 April 2022 Parking bays and Hotel entrances are used by Cabs, Ubers and Tradesmen's Vehicles at all hours (10am - 3am on weekends). A significant proportion of these vehicles idle their engines for extended periods of time (Some Ubers will idle for hours while awaiting callout). Tradesmen's vehicles/vans/trucks will idle for extended time, also in the parking bays. Would the council please patrol the area more regularly AND please consider placing signs on the fencing of the square's greenspace asking that engines are not left idling. This is because LATE AT NIGHT ON WEEKENDS engines will idle throughout the night as cabs await pub/club closing times for late fares. This also occurs throughout the day during the week. Your assistance is greatly appreciated and would prevent toxic fume buildup in the small/rented flats that line the street.
