Missing bollards, missing padlocks Reported anonymously at 15:18, Sat 27 August 2022 Missing bollard and 3 missing padlocks. We were visited by Charing Cross Police who have sent the below message, contact and private information removed. Reported by PS 5374SO. We deployed to the Lyceum Theatre tonight and seen the HVM post in the middle of the Wellington Road just North of the main entrance is missing. The other 2 removable HVM posts didn’t have padlocks holding them in so could be lifted out and removed. Photo’s are attached for you information. The Theatre staff were very helpful and have put the padlocks back on upon request. (N.B These padlocks are from the venue and are not the council padlocks) The missing bollard was apparently broken some weeks ago – the base has broken off which means it can’t be put back in the hole in the ground. The Theatre are storing the broken post inside but stated they don’t have a contact at the council to get it fixed / replaced. Bearing in mind the 2100 capacity and the almost straight run up along Wellington St the HVM is an important part of the physical protection for the Lyceum.
