Rubbish / drug abuse /

Over the past few months, there has been an increase in the amount of rubbish / fly tipping on Boston Place. During the week the recycling bins at the top of the road are overflowing and non-recycling (including office chairs and mattresses accumulate round the bins (engulfing the pavement and road). As the wind picks up often rubbish is blown down the street. Not only is this unsightly, but also unsafe.
A couple of weeks ago I called the Police to report anti-social behaviour and drug abuse - there were bags and capsules of used laughing gas littering the pavement opposite where I live (number 76). A group of youths had congregated and were being incredibly loud (at 10pm). Despite being in my house, I felt unsafe (I assume other residents must feel the same, particularly those with children).
I have also witnessed a member of the public going to the loo on the street at around 11pm (I assume that the same person continues to do this, as I have found excrement with loo roll covering it on the pavement opposite my front door on 3 separate occasions). Not only is this completely unacceptable, it is also very unhygienic.
I urge the Council to increase police patrols on Boston Place and place CCTV in the area (as a deterrent for this antisocial behaviour).
I want to thank the Council for improving the lighting on Boston Place, this has made a big difference, but we do need help addressing antisocial behaviour, particularly in what is / should be a beautiful, safe, well-kept part of London. Thank you as ever for your support with this matter.
