No lights on Hungerford Bridge

Reported in the Street lights category by Adam Norton at 12:39, Friday 14 February 2020

Sent to Westminster City Council 12 minutes later

There are virtually no lights now on the stairs from Embankment up to the footbridge. Descending is very dangerous in wet weather, especially for an older person. There should be 8 lights on the central banisters. There were 3 last night….13/2

The lights on the bridge were nearly all out last night. No top lights at all and no up-lighters on the brick railway supports. I think any visitors to London might feel unsettled when crossing the bridge late at night. This is a wonderful bridge. Please restore the lighting as designed by the late architect Ian Davidson – he must be turning in his grave. If you are not responsible for the maintenance of the bridge, please forward this information to the appropriate body. Thank you. Adam Norton 07799032371
