Noisy deliveries to Co-op on Westbourn Grove

Reported in the Engine idling category anonymously at 10:30, Wednesday 1 July 2020

Sent to Westminster City Council less than a minute later

The Co-Op supermarket at 98 Westbourne Grove receives deliveries around three times each day during business hours. Small delivery trucks arrive outside 43 Hereford Road and unload cages with products, which get pushed from Hereford Road to Westbourne Grove. This is noisy in itself, however the main problem is that these trucks have very noisy and polluting airconditioning units that are active while the trucks are loading and unloading (see attached picture, which shows a trail of black soot across the tops of these trucks). I live in a first floor flat and have to close all my windows several times a day as they are directly above these units when they are active.
