Badly positioned sign causing car accidents!

This really needs to be sorted once and for all. About a decade ago, an island with a sign was placed in the middle of the street (junction of Alitsen and Townshend roads). Drivers do not see this, and crash into it almost every other day. This destroys the sign (only for it to be replaced using taxpayer money a few weeks later) and badly damages cars. It also creates a lot of noise, often waking up those who live in the area. This island needs to be removed immediately.
