No signs to slow traffic - dangerous pedestrian crossing

Reported via desktop in the Signs and bollards category anonymously at 13:03, Monday 14 June 2021

Sent to Westminster City Council less than a minute later

Hi, I have nearly been knocked down multiple times due to taxis speeding around the top of Grosvenor square (the old US embassy). Firstly the speed limit is too high at 20mph for the narrow road and blind ending to a long bend. Secondly there needs to be warning sign for drivers as to the blind end (pedestrians cannot see the road due to building hoardings) and danger of pedestrians walking straight into the too fast traffic. Thirdly there is no need for the road to be used, it is only a rat run for cabbies and was not used previously, why now and when visibility is vastly reduced???? Someone will be knocked down here and seriously injured unless this is sorted. It has been a danger for months now and getting worse, due to more taxis back on the roads with lock down ending. Regards
