Unclear, confusing, green light for pedestrians

Reported via desktop in the Signs and bollards category anonymously at 09:55, Wed 8 December 2021

Sent to Westminster City Council less than a minute later

In the limited time this signal was not red for pedestrians, this unbright, unclear signal appears to suggest crossing the road in anything but a straight line. It is not what confused, elderly people like me expect to see - and not as clear or understandable as the image of a person or bicycle. Is it even legal? Please replace it with a legal and traditional green light (I'm told it's something to do with 'Pride' but surely 'Pride' isn't as important as road safety?)
