Traffic light beeping sound nuisance

Sent to Westminster City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3833893.

The traffic light at the junction between Gloucester Terrace and Bishop's Bridge Road emits a very annoying sound whenever a pedestrian is crossing. No other traffic light in the area emits this sound. This noise seems to turn off at night hours but during the day it's very disturbing for those living in the nearby buildings. It can be heard from the 5th floor despite double glazed windows with new window seals.

I see the issue was reported already on 14/09/2021 and more recently on 12/07/2022. Nothing seems to have changed.

Can the council intervene and remove this annoying and unnecessary disturbance? Shouldn't bee too complex of a job.
