This issue for the mouse increasing and not street cleaning

Reported via mobile in the Bin bags/ Cardboard boxes category anonymously at 15:41, Tuesday 4 February 2025

Sent to Westminster City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7085402.

I am writing to raise serious concerns about the increasing presence of mice in the westminster area, which is causing significant distress to residents and poses a serious health and safety risk.

Over recent months, I have observed a noticeable rise in mouse activity in my neighborhood and other areas within the borough. This situation has led to hygiene issues and concerns about potential disease transmission, particularly in residential properties and public spaces.

I urge westminster Council to take the following actions:

Conduct thorough investigations into the root causes of the infestation, including waste management practices and urban planning factors. Implement effective pest control measures across the borough to address the current infestation. Increase public awareness regarding proper waste disposal and pest prevention methods. Regularly monitor and maintain areas prone to such infestations. The health and safety of Brent residents should be a top priority. I kindly request a timely response outlining the council's plans to address this urgent matter. Please feel free to contact me if further details or evidence from my area would assist your investigations.

I look forward to hearing from you regarding the steps the council will take to address this issue. Thank you for your attention to this pressing matter.
